Venue & Travel Information

Venue

The conference will be held at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Campus 3, 151 Bencoolen Street, Singapore 189656.

NAFA Campus 3 is located in Singapore’s arts and cultural district and houses the School of Music and performance facilities suitable for paper presentations, workshops, lecture-recitals, and performance sessions.

Transport Information

NAFA Campus 3 is easily accessible via Singapore’s MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) network. The nearest stations include Bencoolen (Downtown Line), Bras Basah (Circle Line), and Bugis (Downtown and East-West Lines), all within walking distance of the campus.

Singapore’s public transport system is clean, efficient, and easy to navigate. Contactless bank cards and mobile payment systems can be used directly for MRT and bus travel, making transport convenient for international visitors.

Travel to Singapore

International delegates should arrive via Singapore Changi Airport, one of Asia’s major aviation hubs with direct flights from most global cities. The airport is located approximately 20–25 minutes from central Singapore by taxi or ride-hailing services.

Travellers may also take the MRT from Changi Airport via the East–West Line to reach the city centre with convenient transfers to other lines serving the conference venue.

Weather in May

Singapore has a tropical climate and is typically warm and humid throughout the year. In May, daytime temperatures generally range between 30–33°C, with warm evenings and occasional short afternoon showers or thunderstorms.

Lightweight clothing is recommended. As indoor venues in Singapore are strongly air-conditioned, participants may wish to bring a light jacket or layer.
